We’ve continued to tinker away here at vod:pod headquarters the past few weeks, and have added some great new features over the past week.
WIDGETS
We have a new style of sidebar widget, with larger thumbnails (we call it Sidebar 2.0). There is also a smaller version of the PodPlayer widget which you can use as a blog post, on Myspace, Piczo or similar sites, or your own website.
Many of you have asked to be able to customize the color your sidebar widget. You can now do that now!
And for those of you who live on the wild side, you can now edit and style the CSS of our widget to build your own vod:pod widget to fit your specific needs and tastes (make it a horizontal row, a video wall, etc).
All of this is available on your widgets page (you’ll need to be logged in, of course):

EXPLORE
We thought it was time to update the Explore page given we’re fast approaching 10,000 pods.
You can browse through the top pods by popularity (views) and activity (contributions by you and other members, interactions with your pod) and by time (today, yesterday, this week, last week, this month, last month, etc). Members have now collected videos from over 575 different video sharing sites, and we think you’ll the range of material covered on your fellow members’ pods pretty astonishing.
WATCH
Finally, we rolled out a really cool new service that lets you get videos from your favorite pods and web sites delivered to you here on vod:pod. Check out the “Watch” tab — you can get more details here on our blog.
