We’ve just launched a new version of our “Save to Vodpod” button for Internet Explorer. This extension should be easier to install, and should work better, than the old Javascript bookmarklet.

As we’ve written before, one of the best ways to find great videos is to follow other members who are great at collecting videos, selecting the best ones from among the millions out there for your viewing pleasure.
If you’re interested in following the 2008 election here in the United States, we’re fortunate to have some terrific Vodpodders you can follow:
TalkingPointsMemo — the terrific political blog run by Josh Marshall — has started using Vodpod. They’re a perfect starting point if you want to keep track of the latest from the campaign trail.
Other Vodpodders keeping track of the election for you include: It’s Political from blip.tv; The Palmetto Scoop (great for the upcoming South Carolina primary); the Election ‘08 pod (by my doppelganger); DJ Conservo for a more conservative view; Putsch TV; elonkey’s collection; VideopoliticaTV (en espagnol!); and DragonFlyEye.
