VodPod is brought to you by Remixation, Inc., based in downtown San Francisco, California, and founded in late Spring 2006. We started development of Vodpod on June 1, 2006 and launched Vodpod publicly on December 4, 2006.
It is, we are proud to say, a work in progress.

We were self-funded for our first year, and are funded by some fine people down at Pier 38 nearby, True Ventures.
We’ve had the good fortune of being able to call on a couple of great advisors, Toni Schneider and Philip Rosedale. Toni is now on our Board.
And we’ve been lucky to work with some of the best interaction designers around, Cecil Juanarena and Steve Mack. You can find them at FindFound and LuxMedia.
To the extent the site looks great, it’s to their credit. To the extent it doesn’t, it’s because we’ve fouled up their designs by monkeying around too much.
Finally, we would also like to thank Matt Webb, Jack Schulze, and Trace Cohen. We’ve been lucky to call on them for advice, feedback and counsel over the past year.

If you encounter bugs or errors, let us know. We’ve tried to make VodPod as good as possible for launch, but like all software, it’s never quite perfect. [...]
